At the General Assembly 2023, eight Policy Statements were approved. Read and share now to drive positive developments in oral health within your country.
The International Dental Journal (IDJ) is FDI’s official scientific journal and has been seeing a steady increase, reaching an Impact Factor of 3.3 in 2022. The IDJ is an important vehicle to promote the organization’s global mission to be the leading voice of the dental profession and to improve the oral health of people worldwide.
The February issue of the journal encompasses articles on key oral health-related topics in international public health, practice-oriented research, interprofessional education and practice, and science and technology in dentistry.
In addition, the FDI Policy Statements approved at the General Assembly during the World Dental Congress 2023 in Sydney, Australia are also available to peruse. FDI develops and shares policies, standards, and information related to all aspects of oral healthcare around the world, through its policy statements. They are produced by FDI’s Standing Committees further to consultation, discussion, and consensus among our member organizations.
