Abstract :
This lecture addresses the two main multidisciplinary treatment pathways in patients with missing upper lateral incisors. It is explained in detail when it is preferable to open the space for an implant, and when tooth substitution is indicated, that is, converting the canine into a lateral and the first premolar into a canine. The indications and contraindications of both options are analyzed, supported by clinical cases
