Turn your oral health idea into global impact: Apply for the WDDF by June 15
Have an idea to improve oral health in your country? Apply to WDDF by June 15 and turn your project into reality. The fund supports impactful community initiatives worldwide, helping strengthen access to care, prevention, and education where it’s needed most.
The future of global oral health depends on bold ideas, and the World Dental Development Fund (WDDF) is here to bring them to life.
Led by FDI, the WDDF supports impactful projects that expand access to safe, quality oral healthcare in underserved communities worldwide. Whether it’s training local dental professionals, improving prevention strategies, or delivering care in hard-to-reach areas, the fund turns vision into real-world results. Each year, selected projects can receive up to 10,000 CHF in funding, giving teams the resources they need to launch or scale meaningful work on the ground.
Now is the time to take action. If you’re working on an initiative that can improve oral health and reduce inequalities, the WDDF invites you to apply for funding and make your project a reality. Successful applicants join a global network of changemakers committed to sustainable, community-driven solutions.
Applications for this year’s funding cycle are open but only until June 15. Don’t miss the opportunity to secure support, amplify your impact, and help shape the future of oral health.
Please note an important eligibility rule: to ensure broad global representation, countries that have received WDDF funding within the past two years are not eligible to apply this year. Here are the countries that have won funding in the last two cycles and are therefore not eligible this year:
- Chile
- Cook Islands
- Fiji
- Rwanda
- Uganda
- Kenya
- Tanzania
- Nigeria
Turn your ideas into action. Apply to the WDDF today and help create healthier smiles worldwide.
